Getting to the Nha Trang Cable Car

The Nha Trang Cable Car leaves from a station on Tran Phu Street, the seafront road, about 4–5 km south of the city centre on the way to Cau Da port. Most visitors arrive by taxi or Grab in 10–15 minutes.

From central Nha Trang by taxi or Grab

The drive follows the seafront south; there is parking near the station entrance if you come by car or motorbike.

  1. Set the right destination

In Grab or Maxim choose "Vinpearl Cable Car" or "VinWonders Nha Trang Terminal". Tickets show the island address, which a driver cannot reach.

  2. Head for Tran Phu Street

From the centre, drivers take Quang Trung and Le Thanh Ton Streets to the seafront.

  3. Drive south along the sea

Follow Tran Phu Street south toward Cau Da port. A taxi from the centre costs roughly 120,000–200,000 VND.

  4. Board at the station

Show your e-ticket QR code at the gates and join the queue for the cabins.

By bus

VinBus 23: runs from central Nha Trang to the cable car station from 06:20 to 23:00, every 20–30 minutes, taking 40–50 minutes. It is free with a VinWonders ticket: scan its QR code when you board.

City bus 4: runs between Hon Xen and Vinpearl along Tran Phu Street from 05:10 to 19:10, every 45 minutes, with fares from 7,000 VND.

From Cam Ranh airport

Cam Ranh International Airport is 30–35 km south of the city centre. VinBus 16-2 runs straight from the airport to the cable car station from 05:50 to 23:00, every 30 minutes; the ride takes about 1.5 hours.

A taxi from the airport or the Bai Dai beach hotels costs roughly 350,000–650,000 VND one way, more at night or in a 7-seat car.

When the cable car is closed

During maintenance, and when wind stops the line, speedboats carry ticket holders to the island at no extra charge. From 26 October to 10 November 2026 they leave from the cable car station and take about 7 minutes; staff at the station show the way to the pier.
